The Texas Education Agency (TEA) and the Florida Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles (DHSMV) have approved our Official Defensive Driving course for ticket dismissal, point reduction and insurance discounts.

Insurance Discount

Completing our Official Defensive Driving course might help you obtain lower insurance rates. Contact your insurance agent and inform them that you have completed traffic school with Official Defensive Driving and find out how much of a discount you are eligible for. If taking the Texas or Florida course for insurance only, you can take the course again if you get a ticket (as long as you have not dismissed a ticket or had points reduced with a drivers safety course in the past 12 months).

Certificate of Completion

After completing the course, you will receive a State-issued Certificate of Completion. Texas and Florida have some different delivery methods. If you complete our Texas driving safety course, you will receive your certificate via U.S. Mail within 7-10 business days at no charge. If you need your certificate sooner, we have three different overnight delivery options available from FedEx. To receive your certificate the next business day, just complete the driver safety course by 3:00pm CST.

If you complete our Florida traffic school course you will receive your certificate via email.
